President's Welcome!

The fall session is here! This session is always bittersweet for me. It means the end of summer, end of warm nights, end of summer vacations. But it also is a signal of beginnings. School is beginning, fall colours are beginning, and winter sports are beginning, in particular... skating is beginning!

On behalf of the Tilbury Figure Skating Club Board of Directors and Coaches, I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning skaters for a fun 2021-2022 season! 

The gratitude for another season of skating goes to the hard working arena staff, coaches and volunteers (which includes your new Board of Directors). Each is like a leg on a stool...without any one of them pulling their weight the stool will lean or fall.

Over the years our club has become the heart of our community and the surrounding areas. At the centre of this heart are the many volunteers we have that make our seasons possible.   The volunteers we have is the key to our success.  Volunteers assist at our annual Jingle Showcase,
Skating Carnival and Test Days. Also, to help offset rising costs, we raise funds by participating in fundraisers such as Bingos, Little Caesar’s pizza, Pepperettes, and our very popular Online Auction. 

There is a club bulletin board in the lobby of the arena which will be updated regularly with club activities, upcoming events, as well as ice time changes or cancellations.  You can also access this information via the club web site, or by following us on Facebook and Instagram.

We want your family’s experience at the Tilbury Figure Skating Club to be positive and rewarding.  Please let us know how we can help make that happen!!
