Krislyn Malott-Imeson

I have been on the ice since I was 3 years old and have been a Skate Canada Professional Figure Skating Coach for the past 10 years. During my 18 years as a skater, I completed Gold Tests in the areas of Skills, Dance, Free Skate, Interpretive and Pairs Interpretive. Since becoming a coach, I have worked with skaters of all levels from taking their first steps on the ice to achieving their own Gold Tests. While these are great achievements, the best part of skating happens far below the surface of the ice. Experiencing life’s ups and downs alongside my skaters, guiding them to apply what they’ve learned on the ice to their everyday lives and watching them persevere is the greatest accomplishment.
