Evaluations/Test Days

With the new evaluation system skaters whom were previously testing preliminary and junior bronze level are now Star 1-5 . Their private coach or a club coach who teaches these skaters will do evaluations on an on going basis during the skaters session throughout the season. The fee will be $12.00 to Skate Canada paid in advance and then a charge by your skating coach to do the evaluation. The coach will advice you and your skater when they will be evaluated.

Skaters working on Sr. Bronze to Gold will be evaluated by Skate Canada appointed evaluators on scheduled test days. This is the same as in past seasons. However, these test days could be in our home club or another Skate Canada club holding a test day. Skate Ontario will govern these certain test days. Skaters trying tests will be submitted 1 month prior to having a test day and the test can be pulled up to 2 weeks before the scheduled test day. These test days will be arranged and announced as required.

Final test lists must be received 14 days before the test date.

Test fees must be received 14 days before the test date.

Test schedules will be posted on the figure skating bulletin board.

Proper skating attire is required. 

Please be at the arena and ready to skate at least 30 minutes before scheduled test time. Missed warm-ups will not be rescheduled.
